I'm brand new here, so please forgive me if this is posted incorrectly.

I'm just learning to navigate through so many wonderful features and I've just indexed my first personal recipe.  I would love to see a place to add favorite wine pairings along with the recipe.  I know I can add that to my personal notes, but it might be even more helpful if there was a wine pairings category.  Thanks!

Hi CinCin and welcome to EYB.  Don't worry, no postings here are "incorrect" though it's good to make the subject line specific to the post so it's easy for members to find.  E.g. this one could be "Adding wine suggestions".  Would it be OK if I edited it?

That is so funny, that thought just crossed my mind last night when I was looking at another site that did exactly that.  So consider it now on our to-do list.  In the meantime, you don't need to add your wine suggestion as a personal note - you can make it public and share the knowledge.  Though obviously if it's on a personal recipe then any notes are also personal.

Please feel free to edit my post in any way you see fit.  How, exactly, would I go about going public with my wine pairing suggestion?  I had been indexing one of my own personal recipes to my Bookshelf when the idea crossed my mind.  I often note wine pairtings on the recipes I keep as Word documents.

For every recipe you can add a Note - this can be public or private. Click the speech buble icon then add the Note.  then everyone looking at that recipe can see your wine suggestion.

Fantastic idea I look forward to learning from all of you and sharing what I have found as well.
