Why are stewing and ground meat lumped together?   Go to last post Go to last unread

This has been bothering me for a while.

Sometimes I am looking for a recipe with ground meat. But when I look in my recipes, this ingredient is always lumped together with stewing meat. This also means that when I type "ground" or "stewing", nothing changes, I still get the same results. The only way to weed out the recipes I want is to go through the list manually, or to use more specific key words (such as meatball) but in the latter case I might miss interesting recipes.

Why has this been done that way? I understand that ground and stewing meat are both "cheap cuts", but the cooking methods are so different. Ground meat can be used in quick recipes, stewing meat is for when you have time.

Can this be changed, please? I would think it should be possible, as those different cuts are entered as different when indexing.
