Rinshin, I agree! The Notes feature is one of my favorite aspects of EYB. I check the scrolling Notes on the homepage multiple times a day, if possible. I've discovered many wonderful recipes by reading the scrolling Notes. Whenever I do a search on EYB I always sort by 'Rating,' assuming that the best recipes will appear first AND that they will have some Notes I can read that will offer insight into others' experiences cooking the dish. I also make it a point to submit a Note for every new recipe I cook.
One thing that bothers me is when a recipe has several Star ratings, but no Notes. It's hard to interpret a Star rating when members don't explain why they loved or disliked a dish. I really encourage all EYB members to contribute Notes whenever they cook a recipe that's indexed on EYB.
