This is more of a Trader Vic the individual cookbook, than a Trader Vic's the restaurant/tavern cookbook. Rum-centric, this is mostly designed for home parties, with lots of advice and snark. Alas, no My-Tai, Crab Rangoon, nor Pu-Pu Platters. Also, no Pina Colada, but the back cover and end flap pictures show that Trader Vic's hair was perfect.

Drom John liked it better than any local Chinese take out, but other three disliked it for varying reasons. Basic & simple.
