Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Meatballs in yogurt 1

    • Vegansarah on September 28, 2021

Would probably bake them next time as they were delicate in the pan. Served with the apple chutney from the same book which was amazing

  • Beef with peas

    • Vegansarah on November 07, 2023

Served with the "mustard seed rice" and mango chutney. Leftovers also good in a wrap the next day

  • Sweet and sour chicken

    • Vegansarah on April 24, 2024

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Found coating in gram flour before the batter, helped it stick. Served with egg fried rice and spring rolls

  • Tandoori chicken kebabs

    • Vegansarah on April 09, 2024

Really enjoyed this. Didn't bother with the food colouring. Instead of adding the onion to the marinade, I cut it into chunks and added to the kebab skewers, alternating with the chicken. Served in salad wraps with rice on the side

  • Stuffed green peppers

    • Vegansarah on October 14, 2021

These were nice but think the peppers would benefit from some pre-cooking so they are softened a little. Served with black bean rice, chickpea with tamarind dal and carrot chutney all from the same book

  • Lemon rice

    • Vegansarah on September 28, 2021

Didn't really get the lemon flavour come through here

  • Mustard seed rice

    • Vegansarah on November 07, 2023

Goes well with the "beef and peas" and served with mango chutney.

  • Kheema naan

    • Vegansarah on September 18, 2021

loved the filling from these naan breads just on its own

  • Puri

    • Vegansarah on September 18, 2021

      the kids especially loved these

  • Apple chutney

    • Vegansarah on September 28, 2021

Absolutely loved this chutney! Does carry thickening as it's cooling so bear that in mind! Served with the meatballs but honestly think it would be great with anything!

  • Carrot chutney

    • Vegansarah on October 14, 2021

Not really a chutney, more of a carrot salad. Probably wouldn't have again
