  • Cherry vanilla biscotti

      A vanilla lover's dream cookie. A bit spendy to make since you grind a whole (!) vanilla pod into the sugar. Made a few changes: Used brandy instead of kirsch and since I didn't have enough dried cherries I used 1/2 cup dried cherries, 1/2 cup dried cranberries, and 1/2 cup dried blueberries. And now I have Vanilla-Cherry Berry Biscotti. High altitude (6200') changes: omitted the baking soda.
