Used these general assembly directions as they were easy to follow. Spread raspberry jam on 2 bottom cake layers instead of just 1, since we like more jam. 1 lb marzipan was more than enough. Should have tried this food color method, but didn't. Ribbon around the bottom was a nice idea, but the green color bled through.

The stories are told in a very fun, conversational tone and that carries over into the recipes, which are very detailed but simple enough that you’ll feel like you’re making an old family recipe.
