  • Top-notch waffles

      These are fine but not outstanding. They’re pretty much on par with Bisquick waffles. I wanted a recipe that required easy preparation and basic ingredients, and this recipe fit those parameters. Considering the cup and a half of butter in them, though, these don’t have the rich taste I expected.

      This is time consuming and only OK. I have recipes for other Mexican-inspired casseroles that I like much better.

      The end result was tasty but it took a long time to put together and made way more filling than the 8 muffin cups in the recipe.
