  • Paprika-roast chicken with potatoes and peppers

      This recipe is amazing and now my go-to for roasting a full chicken. It uses only a small number of ingredients that you're likely to have in the house anyway, and is a real crowdpleaser. Smoky chorizo, soft chicken, crispy potatoes, sweet red peppers freshened up by a subtle lemony tang. The listed weight for the potatoes doesn't seem very generous so I always add more, and cook the veg for longer than specified while the chicken is resting to ensure the potatoes crisp up beautifully.
