    From Amazon ratings 1.0 out of 5 stars This is a compilation of her first two cookbooks--There's nothing new here. Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2018 I thought I was buying a new Rebecca Rather cookbook, but alas, no. This one is a compilation of Rebecca Rather's first two cookbooks, "The Pastry Queen" and "Pastry Queen Parties," both of which I already own. Nowhere in the description is this fact stated. But for this deception, I would give it 5 stars, because the recipes are excellent and the narrative is fun and interesting. So if you already own the first two cookbooks, pass this one by--There's nothing new here. If you don't own the first two, by all means buy this one for a taste of Central Texas cooking.
