    Apple lena lefse (pg 231) This dessert lefse roll is built from 5 elements - crisp topping as if making apple crisp, cooked apple filling as if making an apple crisp, carmel sauce (or go international and use dulce de leche), pecans, and lefsa. The result is a very popular desert although it is a bit too sweet for my taste. Mine was a minority opinion.
