      Incredible cake. Gets rave reviews every time I make it. Requires a bit of effort (getting out and washing the food processor, cutting a parchment circle, etc.), but overall not too bad. I used to stress about finding perfectly ripe pears but I've come to realize it really doesn't matter once they're baked.
