      These are dark, crisp and rich. Good with a cup of coffee in the morning or after dinner

  • Runner bean and shallot curry with raita

      Made this with a regular onion and French beans from the veg plot. It is a fairly mildly spiced curry (a few disappointed reviews regarding this on the Waitrose website), so I added some curry powder and drizzled a bit of hot sauce on before serving. Together with the raita this actually came out alright! Maybe not the best curry ever, but quick and easy for a weeknight.
