Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Nutty avocado and mango salad with soy and lime dressing

    • Ro_ on August 08, 2024

Very nice salad, great combination of ingredients. I have an abundance of walnuts so I used those instead of hazelnuts, which was fine. Would repeat this. Could work as a main course if you added chicken and maybe some glass noodles.

  • Spaghetti with avocado sauce and fried chorizo

    • Ro_ on September 16, 2024

This was quite underwhelming. The avocado kind of disappeared and you couldn't taste it much, and I wanted more feta and chorizo. Overall this tasted kind of creamy but not much else.

  • Smoked ham, cheese and parsley sauce toasts

    • Ro_ on April 28, 2025

These were OK but were lacking oomph - maybe I should have seasoned more. But I don't think I'll be that tempted to make these again.

  • Coconut pork curry with crispy lime crumbs

    • Ro_ on May 01, 2025

I made this twice, and the second time it was way better. It really needs a lot of lime, and definitely definitely make your own chunky breadcrubs rather than using anything too finely milled from a packet, makes a huge difference.
