      These were a disappointment. Despite baking them for an extra two minutes they never browned and tasted soggy and doughy.

  • Muscovado toffee crunch cookies

      I substituted 3/4 cup each brown and dark brown sugar. I found silpat or parchment worked equally fine. I used a scant amount of large flake Maldon sea salt on top with great results. I used homemade toffee that I received as a gift which also included chocolate and nut layer. If I make this again I will try it with just the toffee and no add-ins. Overall I think this is a medium good cookie.
