Absolutely delicious. The frangiapane filling was a little thick, so mine didn't quite cook through in the centre (but I didn't dare give it much longer, as I was worried the chocolate pastry would become bitter after so long in the oven). Very popular.
Mike made these - really pleased with how they turned out; highly effective visually but also really tasty. We omitted the chilli to avoid putting kids off.
Good - sort of like a sticky toffee pudding meets and Eve's pudding. The rye flour added a richness.
