      Easy because we used ready made pastry. Would make again. Perhaps not substantial enough as a main on it's own. It needs a sadly.

  • Smoky aubergine and tahini pasta with feta

      I absolutely loved this, the smokiness you get from the aubergine when cooking it over a gas hob flame really stands out in the final dish. I should have taken the aubergine slightly further as it was not fully mushy in the middle. Also, I upped the quantity of pasta by half because I could tell there wouldn't be enough for my appetite if sticking to the recipe. I should have added more tomatoes to keep the proportions. But overall this was a delicious dish and one that I will enjoy making again.

  • Za’atar lamb chopped salad

      This was nice, but not special enough for me to particularly want to make again. I thinkk a more special dressing, rather than just lemon juice, would have lifted it. Some sort of yoghurt based drizzle would have been nice.

  • Raspberry ricotta cake

      Didn't like this - the raspberries just stopped the batter from cooking properly, so it ended up more like a kind of solid clafoutis than a cake. This was after a very long time baking too, maybe 90 minutes? Maybe it'd be nicer with jam instead of berries, but I'm not inclined to try it again
