  • High Mesa peach and blackberry cobbler

The batter for the cobbler is very thin. A little bit of it remained on top, but most ended up in the fruit. It thickened the fruit, almost to the texture of pie filling. Where the batter remained on top, it was initially slightly crispy when it came out of the oven, but didn't stay that way for long. There wasn't really any top crust or cake or biscuit. This tasted good, but I'm not sure that I'd make it again. I prefer a cobbler with some sort of top layer.
