      A nice, chocolate cake doughnut. They aren't particularly sweet and they aren't overwhelmingly chocolatey. I think these would be better with a glaze of some sort. They do not keep very well at all.

      These didn't have as much chocolate flavor as I would've liked. They were more subdued than I expected.

  • Pumpkin old-fashioned doughnuts

    • Not So Humble Pie

      Now the old fashioned is a cake-style donut, but unlike its standard cake brethren it is cooked longer and at a lower temperature. This is what gives the donut it's heft, moistness and craggy petals.
