Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Skillet linguine with white clam sauce

    • bching on December 01, 2020

My family liked this although no more than the NYT clam sauce I usually make. This one's a bit oversold, IMO: lots of prep and cleanup and you need a HUGE restaurant size skillet to make it unless you break the linguine in half.

  • Spinach, egg, and fruited quinoa bowl

    • MollyB on January 25, 2020

Very good, healthy, and pretty easy. I loved the technique of cooking quinoa in the oven! The only change I made was using tart cherries in place of the cranberries, which worked well. This will definitely go into the rotation as a meat-free weeknight meal.

  • Orzo with pan-roasted cherry tomatoes, olives, and feta

    • MollyB on January 25, 2020

Easy and delicious weeknight meal, even with fairly blah mid-winter tomatoes. Looking forward to trying it with ripe summer tomatoes.
