    Fancy baked beans! A bit of trouble but quite delicious with some cornbread on the side.

• Pumpkin pie

    This is a meh pie filling in an odd pie crust. The pumpkin filling is a bit bland, although that could have been the pumpkin I used, but I think it's the ratio of pumpkin and dairy. Too much dairy, not enough pumpkin. The crust has ground nuts in it - called for hazelnuts and pecans, I used almonds and walnuts because that's what I had. So it was crunchy, rather than flaky. An interesting experiment but I don't think I'll repeat it.

    Oh my word. This was unspeakably delicious. I slathered a little strained tomatoes on, then lots of spinach, mozz, and parm. I could cry it’s so good
