Notes about this book

Everything I’ve made from this cookbook has been delicious, and despite the long ingredient lists, they’re pretty quick as the food processor does most of the work.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Spicy glass noodle and prawn salad

    • mirjoy on April 28, 2026

Delicious, I can’t get enough of this recipe. Complex and spicy and very quick - most the ingredients are blended into a paste.

  • Tomato sambal

    • mirjoy on April 28, 2026

So tasty and so spicy. I used habaneros and we’ve put this on top of several recipes from this cookbook.

  • Prawn and tomato noodles

    • lkgrover on November 12, 2025

Good Malaysian noodles with shrimp, tomatoes, and egg. I substituted bottled sweet chile sauce for this book's tomato sambal.

  • Green beans and soy

    • lkgrover on February 03, 2026

Delicious green bean side dish; easy preparation.

  • Tomato eggs with oyster sauce

    • lkgrover on November 10, 2025

Delicious egg & tomato breakfast stir-fry. I substituted bottled sweet chile sauce for this book's tomato sambal.

  • Haddock with yellow bean and chilli oil

    • mirjoy on April 28, 2026

Tasty and easy, has become a go to weeknight recipe for us.

  • Hot sour tamarind fish curry

    • mirjoy on April 28, 2026

This was good, but the tamarind really overwhelmed the other flavors. If I make it again, I will add it one tablespoon at a time to taste.
