  • emiliang on November 11, 2013

The Buttermilk Pancakes in this book are the best-tasting and easiest to prepare of any I have ever tried (we make pancakes at least once a week, typically trying a new recipe every other time or so). Perfect balance of tang and sweetness.

This is our new favorite pancake recipe. Perfect tang from buttermilk.

I did not have buttermilk so subbed half sour cream and half milk. The orange zest added a nice flavor with the blueberries - these were very good. Served with the citrus maple syrup - used lemon zest. Overall delicious pancakes and will definitely make again.

  • Phil's famous potato latkes

Simply wonderful. Crisp, tasty, delicate, beautifully browned.
