  • Broccoli leek soup

      I didn't have quite as much broccoli as the recipe called for, only 500g, so this ended up tasting more like potato-leek soup with broccoli but family loved it, so I'm not about to make changes the next time I make it. I added a little extra broth to the pureed soup as it was a little too thick for our taste.

      These were moist and flavourful but I think I'll omit the Dijon mustard next time and let the Asian flavours shine. (Soy sauce and sesame oil are missing from the ingredient list)

      The texture was very nice and it wasn't sweet but it tasted a little bland - extra salt would have helped.
