SWEET AND SOUR CHERRY RELISH - Painful to pit six cups of cherries but worth it. It’s very good on grilled meat and fish. I freeze small containers of this relish as she recommends.

STRAWBERRY FIG JAM - so delicious! This is the best strawberry jam I have ever tasted. Not as much sugar is needed because the figs help the jam to set. I doubled the recipe, and follow Lucy’s advice in refrigerating the jam (even though I use the usual sterile canning process).
