Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Coffee French toast, vanilla mascarpone and grilled peaches with white chocolate

I've never much liked French toast in any of its guises.. but, as other half wanted something different for breakfast succumbed & have just made this for breakfast. OK, so I substituted home made brioche for the white bread, but otherwise no changes --- this has just made it to my list of favourite breakfasts.. (even without the white chocolate, mascarpone cream and grilled peaches.. I'll save that for Christmas morning! I never thought anything would knock eggs Benedict off the Christmas morning menu!)
