Good but not her best. I highly recommend this author’s Quick Fix Meals. I like the premise of this book but I think she limited herself a little too much. Many of the recipes are oversimplified and would benefit from a few more ingredients. Her technique for creating five ingredient recipes gets a little formulaic too. Still, most of the recipes are pretty good overall. This book is good for quick meals when you truly don’t have time to make something with more than a few ingredients. I find many of the recipes to be good ‘baseline’ recipe ideas; the recipe may produce an okay meal that’s a bit bland or uninteresting, but by adding more seasonings/ingredients to taste they can be made into something even better. One thing I do really appreciate about this cookbook is that most of the recipes are doable for the average person and consist of weeknight dinner options.
