    I made this loaf solely for making the curried chicken on spicy white pepper-jack bread (aka the "O" special). I wanted to see how the same flavoring in both the bread and the sandwich filling would work. I was not excited about this bread.

• Curry sauce

    I made a small amount of this honey and deli mustard based sauce for trying the curried chicken on spicy white pepper jack bread sandwich. Lawry's lemon pepper and a premixed, undefined curry sauce wouldn't be the first thing that came to my mind for a curry sauce. It actually works quite well on the sandwich but is not something I would use broadly.

    The filling of chicken, carrots, and almonds mixed with the book's curry sauce is a decent slightly sweet chicken salad filling. Using the specially baked bread so that the bread amplified the filling flavors was an interesting touch. I found the sandwich mildly enjoyable and therefore not worth the effort required to make it.
