Blakes is a cookery book as elegant and modern as the restaurants run by Andrew Blake. The book also offers advice on matching food and wine from Andrew Blake's partner in the restaurant, Grant Van Every, and every recipe includes a suggested wine to drink with it. Extravagantly illustrated with Simon Griffiths' appetizing photographs, Blakes is a truly beautiful book and a very practical one too.
