    Chickpeas require soaking overnight. Can substitute cavolo nero or silverbeet for red Russian kale, and smoked paprika for sweet paprika.

    I loved this dish, great stand alone lunch. Interesting mix of flavours, I liked the use of cinnamon in this. I substituted tinned chickpeas.
