Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Not a huge success. The pears threw off a lot of liquid, which isn't necessarily the fault of the recipe. Though I think cooking down the fruit a bit first before putting the topping on would have given the chance to evaporate or pour off some of the liquid. I also wasn't mad keen on the demarara sugar in the crumble - though I liked the pear/stem ginger combo. So overall not one I will be repeating.
