Can substitute brioche rolls for sandwich rolls, and basil for mesclun.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I came here for the sauce to use on crispy chicken sandwiches, doing some thorough chopping re: the herbs & capers to avoid dirtying a food processor. We certainly liked it as written but then added a little garlic + Dijon which turned something really good into something great (at least for us:). The rest will be used tonight as a salad dressing (maybe thinned a bit with buttermilk?) and I agree with anya_sf re: its potential as a veggie dip.

I scaled this down for 2 people, but still made 1/2 the sauce, as it's an awesome dip for vegetables. The sauce really makes the sandwich. My tail-end piece of salmon was thin, so it grilled 3 minutes per side. Served on brioche buns, the sandwiches were decadent and delicious. I added tomato and avocado, because why not?
