    I usually don't crave nuts in chocolate chip cookies, and these have *a lot* of nuts, but they're delicious. My husband loves them. The walnuts are untoasted which I think helps their flavor blend in with that of the chocolate. They still have a nice crunch. I was 1/2 c short on walnuts, but the cookies are still very nutty. Great chewy-soft texture. I used white whole wheat flour and it's hard to tell these are whole wheat with all the other flavors going on.
