    Tasty, easy to make soup. I don't know what other smoked ham hocks are like, but we had to use 3 to equal a pound and one had no meat on it. The 2 others had only a tiny chunk of meat. I would leave the lid off for 15+ minutes at the end to make the soup a little thicker. I would put the croutons on at the last possible second because they got soggy very quickly.
