Grilled shrimp and asparagus with lemon-shallot vinaigrette from What's for Dinner?: Delicious Recipes for a Busy Life by Curtis Stone

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is the recipe I keep going back to when I have shrimp and asparagus in the fridge. Have made it at least 3 times. Simple and fresh.

I found a variation of this recipe online that called for roasting the asparagus and shrimp in a very hot oven. That's the one I followed but substituted the season's first fiddleheads for the asparagus (after first steaming them for 5 minutes). There didn't seem to be enough of the dressing so I added extra lemon juice. This was a really lovely dish that I made for family but would serve to guests as well.
