    My macaroons spread out and flattened while baking, so they do not look like the cookbook photo. I thought they taste okay, but not fantastic. However, I received several compliments when I took them to a charity board meeting. I used the zest of one lime; I think this needs two limes. (Note: I live in Colorado; the altitude may affect my flattened cookies.)
