    Very pleased with how this cake turned out. I had no flaked coconut, so decorated the icing with a mixture of desiccated coconut and lime zest. It looked really pretty. Thanks Astrid5555 for pointing out the error in the recipe, I did as you suggested.

    There is one big mistake in this recipe. She has you heat the coconut milk and add the desiccated coconut and the milk to it, but never tells you when to add this mixture to the batter. I ended up adding the mix before adding the flour and it worked well producing a very delicious coconutty cake which I will definitely repeat.
