Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Can substitute yellow mustard seeds for black mustard seeds.

    I had a 10 oz bag of coleslaw mix, so decreased the salt to 1 tsp, but left everything else the same. Didn't have a green chile, which I'm sure would have been good. Still, this was a very nice side to a heavily spiced chicken dish. The mustard seeds did smell rather like popcorn and, like popcorn, the odor permeated the whole house.

    I omitted cilantro (not a fan) but otherwise followed the recipe. Not as flavorful as expected. Not bad but still looking for the perfect cabbage salad.
