    The chocolate biscuit crumb base and crumbled topping were rather gritty on this otherwise silky smooth dessert. Next time I would use chocolate pastry and omit the crumbled topping. Also, the slice does not need the added flavour from the peanut ice cream (which I bought rather than made) a good quality vanilla ice cream would complement the slice very nicely.
