    Easy to make and really nice flavours. It was my first time making soup in the blender! The only thing is that two cans of chickpeas seemed like too much for the amount of soup we had - perhaps our butternut squash wasn't big enough?

    I made this with grated fresh turmeric as suggested in the recipe, but after it was blended in, it added an unpleasant raw flavor and texture. I ended up cooking the soup for about 20 min. on the stove to cook out the rawness.
