    This was good, but definitely not the world's best cake. Husband and boys loved it though. For me, the sponge part of the cake was too dense, I would have prefered something lighter such as a Swiss Roll sponge. However, quick and easy to make, and as such perfect for an impromptu dessert during strawberry season.
