    This turned out soupy for me, and with the pasta already in the sauce there no way to just let it simmer and reduce. I love the idea though so next time I'll start with 3 c of water and work my way up if needed. Probably add lots more kale too.

    Have made this several times now. It's a quick and easy meal that easily feeds a family of five with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I use what's on hand and usually include some meat and low salt chicken stock as just water is bland. Last night it was 1/2 lb ground pork and onions, eggplants, tomatoes, zucchinis, chile pepper, and tomatillos all from our garden. They all asked for seconds!
