Recipe suggests Goya's 16-bean soup mix for the mixed dried beans. Can substitute other large dried beans for dried lima beans; other large white beans for dried cannellini beans; wild fennel greens for fennel seeds; and mixed spring greens such as dandelion, chicory, and borage for spinach.
