Asparagus with citrus, parsley and garlic (Asparagi alla gremolata) from Molto Italiano: Simple Italian Recipes for Cooking at Home (page 418) by Mario Batali

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Simple, flavorful way to prepare asparagus. I only had one lemon, so I supplemented with the juice of 1/2 orange. Salt bomb warning: after cooking the asparagus in heavily salted water (Mario doesn't specify what kind; I used Kosher), sprinkling with 1 Tbsp coarse sea salt will render this inedible. I used 1/2 Tbsp Maldon salt and it was still a bit much; 1 tsp is probably about right.
