    I was pressed for time and so I simply sliced the mushrooms and stir fried them and then added the marinade. The flavour was lovely and the stir fry method worked well. When I have the chance I will try the method she suggests. Servced with the edamame pate and pickled shallot this was very well received by all.

    This recipe taught me so much about cooking mushrooms - what a great sear, and great filling for a vegetarian banh mi.
