    This coffee cake is a delight. The texture is perfect, the flavors meld wonderfully, the streusel is the best I’ve ever had and it is pretty easy to make. Next time I will hold out 2-3 tablespoons of the dark brown sugar for the filling and mix the lemon zest with it to make it easier to sprinkle the zest evenly over the cake. My cake was perfectly baked at 55 minutes.
