    I have renamed this recipe "Perfect Pumpkin Pie". It is so good and is now my all-time favorite go-to pumpkin pie. The flavor really benefits from refrigerating the filling overnight and it deepens further if you refrigerate the cooked pie overnight. Makes a lot of filling, so use a deep-dish pie plate. It is the ultimate in tasty make-ahead food for the busy holiday season. If you like a well spiced, flavorful pumpkin pie then this is the recipe for you. High altitude changes (6200'): none
