    My husband is Danish, so I frequently cook a traditional Danish Christmas dinner. This dish is always a standout. I do not include the apples, but I don't think the dish suffers for it. It's a WOW dish!. Normally, I'm not really a fan of red cabbage, but this dish is addictive! I'm usually fighting my husband for the last of the leftovers! The red currant jelly can be hard to find, but don't leave it out, it's a key ingredient.
