Coeur à la crème with strawberries and passion fruit from The Creamery Kitchen: Discover the Age-Old Tradition of Making Fresh Butters, Yogurts, Creams, and Soft Cheeses at Home (page 83) by Jenny Linford

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This, when judged by mouth feel, is a perfect dessert - mildly sweet and very silky. I rarely have passion fruit available so when repeating this recipe I will explore other fruit options.

I served it with nectarines instead of the strawberries and passionfruit, but any slightly sharp fruit would work well. This is much easier than other recipes I have followed for coeur a la creme and is very successful. Rich and only just sweet.
