  • Breadcrumbs on September 28, 2015

    p. 98 – It was the use of panko breadcrumbs that attracted me to this recipe as many others call for cornmeal of which mr bc isn’t a big fan. With a nod to some of my favourite Italian breaded recipes, I decided to add a little parmesan to the panko as I find it ensures the breadcrumb coating caramelizes nicely and, deepens the flavours. I served with a caper aioli as I always feel FGT’s need a sauce or topping. We were very pleased with this recipe and I’d definitely make it again.
